Welcome to Cards by Amy K.

I am SO GLAD you stopped by to check out my blog!!! Here I will be posting my current projects for you to see. PLEASE feel free to leave me a comment. I would LOVE to hear what you think about what I'm working on. I have been a scrapbooker/paper crafter since I first caught wind of this wonderful hobby in 2006. I am lucky enough to get to spend my days doing something I love so much and which brings so much joy into my life. I first started scrapbooking as a way to pass the time as I found myself at home alone all day suddenly, now I can't imagine life without it. Too bad I don't get paid for it, then I really would have it all!!!

Birthday card for Father In-law

This is the birthday card I made for my father in-law, Dale.  He enjoys architecture so I thought he would get a kick out of this design paper. The paper is from Graphic 45, and the post card stamp and the sentiment stamp are from TPC studios, they are stamped in dark brown chalk ink from Clearsnap.  The Dad stamp is from Hot off the Press stamped in the same ink.  I distressed the edges of the post card stamp and then added walnut stain distress ink. Both the dies cuts are from Spellbinders, the circle being from the Lacy Circles set and the label being from Fancy tags.
That's my card for today, I hope you enjoyed it.  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  I love to hear from you guys.  Till next time, I hope you have a great day!
