Welcome to Cards by Amy K.

I am SO GLAD you stopped by to check out my blog!!! Here I will be posting my current projects for you to see. PLEASE feel free to leave me a comment. I would LOVE to hear what you think about what I'm working on. I have been a scrapbooker/paper crafter since I first caught wind of this wonderful hobby in 2006. I am lucky enough to get to spend my days doing something I love so much and which brings so much joy into my life. I first started scrapbooking as a way to pass the time as I found myself at home alone all day suddenly, now I can't imagine life without it. Too bad I don't get paid for it, then I really would have it all!!!

Anniversary card for my Brother

Today I have an Anniversary card that I made for my Brother and his wife, Mel.  This tells you how far behind I am on my blog post, their anniversary was back in mid June.  I hope to catch up before the end of the year lol.  To make this card I used some resist paper from Heidi Swap and some of her glimmer shine sprays.  The doily is from Spellbinders and the banner and sentiment are from Simmon Says Stamp.  The flower is from The Paper Studio by Hobby Lobby and the leaves are Recollections by Micheals and to finish it off I just tied around some red burlap ribbon.  It's a  pretty simple card but I think it's classy.  Hope you like it too!  Thank you for stopping by.  Hope you have a wonderful evening and I'll see you back tomorrow for another card or maybe two!  Hugs, Amy K.

card share video for birthday cards

I've got a video for you today that shows you some of my more recent cards that I've made for the church and some for personal use.  They are all femine birthday cards and some of them are made using the Cricut creative cards cartridge.  I'm loving this cartridge for fast and easy simple cards that I can make in a hurry for the church to give out.  I love it so much I went and bought two more of the cricut card making cartridges. I hope I'm using them for a long time to come.  I hope you enjoy the video and as always, feel free to leave me a comment letting me know what you think of my creations and also you can let me know if there are any videos that you would like to see and I will see what I can do about getting a video made for you.  I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week.  We're half way to the weekend now!  Only two more days to go!  I'll be back soon with some more cards.  Thanks for stopping by.
