I no I'm a little late posting this card because Mom's birthday was back in the middle of January. I guess making sure to keep my blog up to date wasn't in my new year's resolutions. lol. But seriously, I'm sorry for the delay. I seem to stay so busy for a disabled say at home wife with no kids. Looks like I could find time to update my blog. Promise to do better. ok.
Okay now that I'm done with that rant, let me tell you a little about this card. First of all I used Bazzill card stock then the designer paper pad was the Gabrielle collection from BoBunny. I used a couple of prima flowers that I colored to match using glimmer mist. The flourish is a die cut from Mft (my favorite things). Like I have to tell you what that stands for. hahaha.. The bling in the middle of the flower is actually a jewelry piece that's made to go on bracelets and such as that and I just thought the colors matched so perfectly that I just cut the shank off the back and hot glued that baby on my card. Ok, that's it for today, Hope you enjoyed it and no matter how you feel about it I would still love to hear from you so please leave me a comment. talk to you soon. Have a great day!
Welcome to Cards by Amy K.
I am SO GLAD you stopped by to check out my blog!!! Here I will be posting my current projects for you to see. PLEASE feel free to leave me a comment. I would LOVE to hear what you think about what I'm working on. I have been a scrapbooker/paper crafter since I first caught wind of this wonderful hobby in 2006. I am lucky enough to get to spend my days doing something I love so much and which brings so much joy into my life. I first started scrapbooking as a way to pass the time as I found myself at home alone all day suddenly, now I can't imagine life without it. Too bad I don't get paid for it, then I really would have it all!!!

A little Valentine for my good friend Robin
I was sending a package to Robin back in January and I thought I would go ahead and include this little Valentine's day card for her. She's such a sweet and thoughtful friend and I just try and treat her the same. I used designer paper from Making Memories (8x8) stack. The two felt white rolled roses are from a Sizzix die and the red rolled flower is from the Close to my heart, art philosophy cartridge for the cricut. I used bazzill card stock for all solid card stock. The sentiment stamp is also from Close to my Heart, it coordinates with the art philosophy cartridge.
