Welcome to Cards by Amy K.

I am SO GLAD you stopped by to check out my blog!!! Here I will be posting my current projects for you to see. PLEASE feel free to leave me a comment. I would LOVE to hear what you think about what I'm working on. I have been a scrapbooker/paper crafter since I first caught wind of this wonderful hobby in 2006. I am lucky enough to get to spend my days doing something I love so much and which brings so much joy into my life. I first started scrapbooking as a way to pass the time as I found myself at home alone all day suddenly, now I can't imagine life without it. Too bad I don't get paid for it, then I really would have it all!!!

Masculine Birthday card for young man

I made this card for my cousin's other boy/child, Garrison.  He's almost a teenager and enjoys all the things that boys his age do.  I thought the four wheeler was a good fit for him.  Didn't want to put anything too childish on the card for him. No cutsie cards for him from now on. lol.the designer paper is from a Recollections pad and  the die cut is from the Dude! cricut lite cartridge and I think the letters may be from the Wild Card cartridge, the sentiment stamp is from Close to my Heart on a chipboard cut out. Hope you enjoyed the card today and hope you have a great day, Hugs.

Birthday card for one year old baby boy

I made this card for my cousin's baby boy, Colt, who just turned one. To make this card I used a designer paper pad from Fancy Pants designs called Road Show. I also used stamps from a Basic Grey set  and the sentiment stamp is from Close to my Heart. I also used spellbinders labels 9 for the layered shapes. Thats all I've got for you today, stop by tomorrow and I'll have another card to share with you. thanks for stopping by. Hugs

Masculine Birthday card

I made this birthday card for my uncle Tim.  I used an older BoBunny paper line called Mama-Razzi for this card and alot of Tim Holtz products like the bird charm and the flowers and foliage and the fragment charms. I added the sentiment stamp from TPC studios and punched it out with an ek success punch. then finished it off with a pretty bow. I hope you enjoyed my card today, and I thank you for stopping by to have a look. I'll see you all back here tomorrow with another card. Hugs,
